Shirley Thompson vs the Aliens was a groundbreaking work created with the facilities of the Australian Film & TV School at its original first campus.
Hopefully Jim Sharman will overcome his apparent reticence to see this work reappear in the collective consciousness.
The film encapsulates the era remarkably well. We used to screen it regularly at the old Filmmakers' Co-op in Sydney.
