Drake Stutesman

Drake Stutesman edits Framework: the Journal of Cinema and Media. Author of the cultural history Snake (Reaktion Press, 2005), her work has been published by the British Film Institute, MoMA, Koenig Books, University of Illinois Press, Gale Press, Bookforum, Film Quarterly, Framework and AMIA. She is a novelist and biographer (currently writing on milliner/couturier Mr.John, creator of two fashion empires and hat designer for films of Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and others from 1930 to 1960). She teaches film, literature and creative writing and is the Co-Chair of The Women’s Film Preservation Fund.
