Yoel Meranda

Yoel Meranda was born in Istanbul in 1981. His website Ways of Seeing attracts more than fifteen hundred visitors per month and it's linked by sites such as IMDB, Senses of Cinema, UbuWeb. An essay he wrote on Douglas Sirk's "Imitation of Life" and an interview he did with Francois Ozon were published by the Radikal newspaper in Turkey. Yoel’s videos were shown at the Lucca Film Festival 2007, !f Istanbul Film Festival 2008, and Onion City Film & Video Festival 2009.
